Project Description: Terry High School New 9^th Grade and Entry Building

The new Terry High School Ninth Grade and Entry Building is a 20,400 square foot, $7.4M facility on the main campus in Terry, MS.  It consists of 13 classrooms and a fully renovated Administrative Wing.  This project recreated the entry facility to make the entry more monumental and addressed many security issues. The Entry creates a secure lobby area greeting the public with a reception and seating area.  The new Administrative Wing is located beyond secure doors and consists of Principal’s Suite, Administrative Reception, Conference Room, Work Room, Break Room, Accounting Office, Staff Rest Rooms, Storage and a full Clinic with waiting room and two exam rooms.  All classrooms share storage and HVAC rooms.  The classroom hall also houses an adjunct staff work area with workroom, storage, and staff rest room.

The Bus Loop entry breezeway serves both the new 9^th Grade facility as well as the exiting 9^th grade building.  This facility connects the exiting High School with the existing 9^th grade building with a secure indoor corridor creating an outdoor courtyard for student activities.
