Mr. Ferguson is a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and a Minor in Fine Art from Mississippi State University. He is currently registered in Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, Kentucky, Arkansas, Colorado and Texas. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the Urban Land Institute, the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Congress of New Urbanism, the American Planning Association, and the American Correctional Association. Mr. Ferguson’s community involvement includes recognition as one of the Mississippi Business Journal’s “Top 40 under 40” State of Mississippi Business Persons. He was the organizer of the design competition for the West Park neighborhood project, and is a volunteer with the Habitat for Humanity. He participated in the Habitat Hideaway Playhouse Design Competition, and the CARA Doghouse project. He is past president of the Metro Jackson Rebuilding Together effort. With his Church, Mr. Ferguson served multiple terms as Chairman of the Board of Trustees, on the building committee and is involved with young adults, evangelism, strategic planning. He has also served as a D-group leader for Sixth Grade boys and leads an annual mission trip to Costa Rica. He is married and has two children, and currently attends Christ United Methodist Church.

Mr. Clemmer is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and an emphasis in Art. He is currently registered in Mississippi and is a member of the American Institute of Architects. He has experience with design and management of multi-million dollar projects with multi-faceted teams. Mr. Clemmer excels in working with project team members to meet Owners’ needs and goals. He serves as the studio manager for the firm and oversees project workflow. Outside of the office, Mr. Clemmer is an avid mountain biker and gym-goer. He is married with four children and lives in Madison, MS. With his church, Mr. Clemmer has served multiple terms as the President of the Congregation and the Church Council President for Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Flowood.

Mr. Walters brings 40 years of experience to Ferguson and Associates, specializing as a manufacturer’s representative, contractor, and building envelope consultant. His experience includes design, detailing, estimating and installation of commercial membrane roofing systems, tapered insulation and sheet metal components. Mr. Walters has also made significant contributions to construction projects by providing analysis, detailing, design and installation on new construction, recover and retrofit applications. Mr. Walters has an excellent understanding of roofing and construction standards, conventions, and codes. He is qualified to identify deficiencies and address warranty, remedial solutions, and preventative maintenance to assist owners and property managers with their budget planning and to protect the investment of the owner. In addition to his vast experience and knowledge of various roof types, he is knowledgeable in Exterior Insulation Finish Systems (EIFS), stucco and masonry building construction, including the proper detailing to prevent moisture intrusion and identification of failure mechanisms.

Mr. Newell is a graduate of Delta State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree as well as the post graduate degree from University of Southern Mississippi in Educational Leadership. He holds teaching certifications in Educational Administration, AP Economics, History, and Physical Education. Mr. Newell has recently retired, after 30 years of public service, from Hinds Community College where he served as a Director of Secondary Career and Technical Education. Mr. Newell has extensive knowledge of the day to day activities of running a school from the perspective of a District Level Administrator, School Level Administrator, as well as the unique viewpoint of a teacher/coach. While he was serving as the Principal of Terry High School, Mr. Newell was able to work directly with the team at Ferguson & Associates. This experience gives Mr. Newell a very unique understanding of how District Level Administration and School Level Administrations work together, with an architectural firm, to develop relationships and partnerships to help generate the schools of tomorrow. Mr. Newell is married (Lorie Yates Newell) with three children and lives in Brandon, MS.
